What are Online classes exactly?
MECA online classes, conferences or workshops are delivered
entirely over the Internet.
You do not need to download any special software. You simply
connect to a private link that will be emailed to you and access the
class online through your computer.
What are your rates?
Our rates are IMPOSSIBLE TO MATCH!. If you are inquiring about our
classes from an educational institution, nonprofit organization or a private
corporation, then our online classes can potentially SAVE you thousands
in training costs. (Travel, lodging, overhead, per diem...etc).
How does a MECA Online work?
MECA Online classes are presented through WebEx. WebEx is a
web-based service, so you can use it from any computer (Windows, Mac, Linux, or Solaris) - as well as your iPhone, Blackberry, or any other WiFi or 3G-enabled mobile device. There's no complicated installation.
Participants don’t need to be WebEx subscribers to join us online, but you do have to register for the class that you or your students wish to attend.

Classes can be viewed on a single computer screen or they can be projected onto a larger screen for a group setting.
How do I ask the instructor questions during a MECA Online class?
You can submit a question at any time during the live session in chat mode or by talking. Don't worry, You will be able to get acquainted with the program prior to your first meeting.
How do I advance the slides or Power Point?
The slides are presented one at a time as the instructor goes through them. They will advance automatically whenever the presenter moves onto the next slide. Copies of the slides are typically e-mailed to you after each MECA Online class.
If the slides seem to be stuck, not advancing or are out of sync with the presenter's speech during a live class, please try refreshing your browser.
When will I receive the connection instructions/link ?
Three days prior to the MECA Online class of your choice, you will receive an email from MECA with the link to the online seminar. You will also receive an email reminder the morning of the class with the same information.
Please be sure to enable emails coming in from MECA.
I never received the email or any correspondence that contained the information for the online seminar for which I registered - what should I do?
We send all information regarding access to the online seminars via email. These emails are sent to the email address that was given at the time of registration. If you never received the email at this address, please check your spam or junk mail folder. If you still cannot locate the email, contact MECA by email at info@mecatraining.com or by phone 1-800-611-6584 or 208-892-3030.
Can I record the live presentation of the MECA Online Seminar?
Due to copyright laws, recording the presentation is not allowed. However, we are able to record it for you and for anyone who misses a class. They are then e-mailed the link to it's location on the server.
What is your cancellation policy?
All cancellations need to be submitted to MECA by email to info@mecatraining.com or by calling 208.892.3030. Up until 3 days prior to the class, you may cancel your registration and receive a refund, minus a cancellation fee of $25.00. If you cancel your registration less than one week prior to the scheduled seminar date, you will be charged the full registration fee.
Do you offer Continuing Education Credits for MECA Online Seminars?
At this time we do not offer any Continuing Education Credits for any of our programs. If you would like to see CEU's offered for future programs, please include your comments in the electronic evaluation you will receive shortly after the program, or email your comments to info@mecatraining.com
What about College Credits?
Whether or not students from an educational institution will receive credits for attending a MECA Course depends on the Department or the University. Most would give credit, depending on the length of the course.
Does MECA host Seminars as well?
Yes, depending on instructor availability, we are able to host a seminar anywhere in the country.
